Tuesday 30th November

Laugh Out London presents the second night of the Laugh Out London Comedy Festival 2018 at the Old Queens Head with a double bill of work in progress shows from Ivo Graham and Sarah Keyworth…

Ivo Graham: Motion Sickness (Work in Progress)
A feisty new hour about facing the future named after my fourth favourite Hot Chip song (and a beaut by Phoebe Bridgers). As seen/heard on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Live from the BBC, Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Worrier, Fighting Talk, The Now Show, It’s Not What You Know and eating Subway sandwiches in petrol stations. ‘Endlessly amusing hour from the politest man in comedy’ ★★★★ (iNews.co.uk). ‘Not an ounce of flab on his routines… a joy’ ★★★★ (Telegraph). ‘A self-deprecating dweeb par excellence, on the brink of comedy’s Premier League’ ★★★★ (Evening Standard).

Sarah Keyworth: Dark Horse (Work in Progress)
You’ve seen her on Comedy Central, you’ve seen her on the BBC. Now see Nottingham-born rising star Sarah Keyworth’s debut hour. Join Sarah as she tells you about her life with an important little girl and her battle against every expectation of what being a girl means. Think Girls Just Wanna Have Fun but British, deadpan and in no way similar. Tour support for Dane Baptiste, Stewart Francis and Kerry Godliman. Funny Women runner-up. ‘Charming’ (Independent). ‘Excellently deadpan’ (HuffingtonPost.com). ‘I liked that joke about her fanny’ (Sarah Millican). ‘A complete breath of fresh air’ (EdFestMag.com).

Time: Doors 7.30pm, Start 8pm
Tickets: £5 advance, £6 on the door
