What is an intentional space?

How does the community move past quick-fix, reactive politics, towards spaces that lift up and empower our community/communities?

In this workshop Crossbreed will be collaborating with Taali, co-host of queer house party and co-founder of the Dope Black Queers Collective, to discuss how as a community, can support intentional spaces to grow. Explore the limitations of “safe spaces” before moving on to discuss how radical, queer spaces can be created and sustained.

Followed by workshopping these ideas, before opening up the floor to you to explore and share thoughts collectively; then there will be an hour for socialising and further unpacking the topics at the end. We hope to create an intentional space for learning and reflection.
